First Order
If you are new to weight loss injectables, you should always order the lowest dose of Mounjaro® 2.5mg or Wegovy® 0.25mg.
If you have used weight loss injectables before with another provider, you may select a higher dose. To decide which dose is right for you, please see guidance below:
| Time since last injection | Which dose should I order?* |
| Less than 4 weeks | The same as your previous dose or the next dose up. For example, if less than 4 weeks have passed since your last injection with Mounjaro and your previous dose was 5 mg prescribed from a different provider, you have two options:

| Between 4 and 8 weeks | The same as your previous dose. For example, if between 4 to 8 weeks have passed since your last 5 mg dose of Mounjaro from a different provider, it is recommended that you continue with the same 5 mg dose when ordering from our practice and then escalate to next dose after 4 weeks. |
| More than 8 weeks | If it’s been more than 8 weeks after your last dose, you must restart at the lowest dose. |
*Please note, our guidance is on the basis your last dose was well tolerated. We would advise maintaining or decreasing dosage if this is not the case.
To ensure safe supply of a higher dose, you will be asked to upload evidence of your most recent prescription with another provider. This evidence can either be a prescription, dispensing label (found on the packaging), receipt or dispatch confirmation, as long as the following are visible:
- Date (this should be in the last 8 weeks in order to go up to the next dose)
- Medication name and dose
- Your name and date of birth
